Export of Antiquities:
According to the Antiquities and Art Treasures Act, 1972 (Act No. 52 of 1972), items (including coins) over 100 years old, cannot be exported out of India except with the permission of the Director General, Archaeological Survey of India ,Dharohar Bhawan ,24 Tilak Marg, New Delhi.
As a foreigner or a non-Resident Indian, you are not supposed to Bid on any items that are more than 100 years of age. However, you can legally bid on those items which are Under-100-Years of age
